KTM’s November 2023 sales performance
Austrian brand KTM had a remarkable performance in November 2023 with positive year-on-year growth in sales. The company witnessed a slight decrease in month-on-month sales. Interestingly, KTM’s exports showed a positive increase on both a yearly and monthly basis. In comparison to domestic sales, growth in India was seen in KTM’s exports. The total units sold by KTM in November 2023 were 11,741, marking a 13.14% increase compared to November 2022 and a 4.08% decrease compared to October 2023. The year-on-year volume increased by 1,364 units and there was a loss of 500 units on a monthly basis.
Sales of KTM’s 390 range
The 390 range was the best-selling model for KTM in November. This range includes the recently launched 2024 390 Duke, along with the 390 Adventure and RC 390 models. A total of 3,956 units from KTM’s 390 range were sold last month, marking a 91.48% year-on-year increase and a 9.41% month-on-month decrease. The year-on-year volume increased by 1,890 units and there was a decrease of 411 units month-on-month.
Sales of KTM 200 and 250 range
The 200 range (200 Duke and RC 200) and 250 range (250 Adventure and 250 Duke) motorcycles sold 3,695 and 2,718 units respectively, ranking second and third in sales. The 200 range recorded a year-on-year decrease of 36.56% and a 6.24% month-on-month decrease. The 250 range, on the other hand, registered an annual growth rate of 89.28%.
Sales of KTM’s 125 range and key domestic sales
KTM’s 125 range sold the least with 1,272 units, but it was the only one showing a month-on-month growth, displaying an increase of 53.47%. In terms of domestic sales, KTM’s 200 range was the top-selling model with 2,777 units sold, marking a 21.11% year-on-year increase. This range also saw the least month-on-month decline of 18.11%. KTM’s 250 range sold 1,371 units, gaining a 50.83% annual growth and a 25.93% market share. The total domestic sales of KTM stood at 5,287 units, which is more than the 3,988 units sold last year and less than the 7,241 units sold a month ago, resulting in a 32.57% annual gain and a 26.99% month-on-month decline.
