Hyundai Exter Receives Over One Lakh Bookings

The Hyundai Exter, the latest mini SUV in the Indian market, has received over one lakh booking units even before its launch in July. In some cities, the waiting period has extended to four months. Major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru have a delivery time of four months for the Exter. On the other hand, cities like Pune, Hyderabad, and Surat have a waiting period of two to three months.

Features and Competitors of Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Exter comes with many features from its base variant, which is widely appreciated by customers. The mini SUV competes with budget SUVs like Tata Punch, Maruti Ignis, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite in the Indian market. The Exter is Hyundai’s most economical SUV in India. Its ex-showroom price starts at six lakh rupees and goes up to ten lakh rupees.

Variants and Warranty of Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Exter comes in seven variants, EX, EX(O), S, S(O), SX, SX(O), and SX(O). The company offers a three-year unlimited-kilometer warranty on this SUV. In addition, it is also available with the option of a seven-year extended warranty. This micro SUV is available in six monotone and three dual-tone exterior paint options.

Engine and Mileage of Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Exter has a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The engine generates a maximum power of 81 bhp and a peak torque of 114 Nm. The company has also introduced it in a CNG version. The CNG engine can generate a power of 68 bhp and a torque of 95 Nm. The petrol variant of Exter yields a mileage of 19.4 km per liter. The SUV can provide a mileage of 27.1 km/kg on CNG.
