Tata Motors Offers Discount up to INR 2.60 Lakh on Nexon EV Max Model

Tata Motors has launched the facelift version of Nexon EV in September this year. It is one of the best-selling electric cars in the country. However, there are several models of Tata, including Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max, which have not been sold. To clear the old stock, the company is offering a discount of up to INR 2.60 lakh. The significant discount on Tata Nexon EV could pose a challenge for Mahindra XUV400.

Discount Offer on Tata Nexon EV

The discount offer on Tata Nexon EV will remain valid until the stock is exhausted or until 31st December. All variants of Nexon EV before the facelift are receiving a cash discount of INR 1.40 lakh. Customers can also avail an exchange bonus of up to INR 50,000. After the discount, the Nexon EV could cost approximately INR 12.60-14.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tata Nexon EV Prime comes with a 30.2kWh battery pack and can run up to 312 km on a full charge.

Nexon EV Max Cash Discount

As for the previous Nexon EV Max model, all its variants will receive a cash discount of INR 2.10 lakh. This model also comes with an exchange bonus of up to INR 50,000. However, there is no corporate offer on any variant. The Max version can be purchased for around INR 13.89-16.94 lakh (ex-showroom). The Nexon EV Max comes with a 40.5kWh battery pack and can cover a distance of 437 km on a single charge.

Mahindra XUV400 and Nexon EV Faceoff

The Nexon EV directly competes with Mahindra XUV4. Mahindra has also released a discount offer on its only electric SUV to clear old stock, offering a discount of up to INR 4.20 lakh. The cheapest EC trim of XUV400 gets a discount of up to INR 1.70 lakh. This electric SUV can be purchased for between INR 14.29-15.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The sales of Mahindra XUV400 are much lower compared to Nexon EV. Both electric SUVs are offering large discounts. It will be interesting to see which car proves to be the most beneficial in terms of sales.
