MG Motors, the Chinese automaker, has revealed the facelift version of its popular SUV model, the MG Astor. The new version is expected to come with bold design changes and impressive features, including two engine options – a 1.5-liter petrol engine and a 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine. For better performance, the SUV will come with manual, CVT, and torque converter transmission options.
The interior of the MG Astor facelift version will feature white accent seats with a black theme, providing a premium feel. The SUV will also come with mounted controls, a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a new dashboard, twin-screen display with wireless smartphone charger, and the possibility of inside internet connectivity.
The MG Astor facelift version will come with dual-tone alloy wheels, wraparound LED tail lamps, a new rear bumper, high-mounted stop lamps, and an integrated spoiler. The SUV will also feature a premium large sunroof. The initial ex-showroom price of the SUV is expected to be around 10 lakh rupees, competing with vehicles such as the Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos.
