Mini presents the 2025 Cooper E and Cooper SE compact electric hatchback models

After several leaks and delays, Mini has finally introduced the new Cooper E and Cooper SE models to the market. The design has been updated and the range has been improved. The three-door Cooper maintains the classic Mini style both inside and outside.

Mini Cooper Electric: Exterior

The new Mini Cooper Electric comes with a simple design language. According to Oliver Heilmer, the company’s Chief of Design, it is centered on the “brand’s essentials.” The Cooper Electric is built with round headlights, a trademark design theme of Mini. However, the size of the new octagonal front grille has been increased without any bezels. The chrome, wheel arch trims have been removed from the exterior, and it now features flash door handles. The signature fox air vent on the front fender has also been removed for a more minimalist design. At the rear, the tail lights have been completely redesigned with a new triangular shape. It features a black floating roof. The wheelbase has been increased to make room for the battery, but the overall length has been reduced.

Car Interior

The interior of this car features a circular instrument cluster above the toggle bar. It also includes a 9.4-inch OLED infotainment touchscreen as a feature. It comes with a new Android operating system. The instrument cluster has been removed, but a new reflective panel for the head-up display is available in front of the steering wheel. It has been made smoother than before.

Mini 2025 Cooper E Range and Power

The Cooper E is equipped with a single electric motor that generates 184HP of power and 290Nm of torque. It is powered by a 40.7kWh battery. The Cooper E has a WLTP range of 305 km. The Cooper E electric car supports 75kW charging. The Cooper E can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
