The ‘Vande Sadharan’ trains are currently being manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. The trains will consist of 24 second-class coaches and will be operated with two engines. The fares for these trains are expected to be lower compared to the Vande Bharat Express. The coaches will be designed with facilities like bio-vacuum toilets, passenger information system, charging points, and CCTV cameras. Additionally, the trains will have automatic door systems and will have higher speed compared to regular mail and express trains.
