HR Breaking News (New Delhi). Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recently launched the Toyota Innova that runs on ethanol fuel. This will be the country’s first car that will run entirely on ethanol, providing benefits such as reduced pollution and cheaper fuel. Additionally, the use of ethanol will also increase farmers’ income. However, the question arises whether old petrol or diesel cars can also be run on this fuel or if a new car needs to be purchased. Furthermore, there is still no clear picture regarding the availability of ethanol filling stations. While the government is discussing increasing the quantity of ethanol mixed with petrol, there are currently no pumps that exclusively offer pure ethanol filling.
