Tata Motors Unveils Harrier EV
Tata Motors showcased its near-production Harrier EV version electric car at the Auto Expo 2023 in Delhi earlier this year. A new image posted on the website suggests the range of the future electric SUV. The Harrier EV, which could be launched soon, is said to run up to 500 kilometers once fully charged. This surpasses the range of the long variant of the Nexon EV, which provides a range of 465 kilometers on a full charge.
Instrument Console and Charging Assistance
Images of the Tata Harrier EV show the instrument console clearly. The image also shows charging assistance. Here, the car shows an 80% charge and has a range of 400 km. The remaining 20% charging could potentially increase its range to 500 km. If the Harrier EV has such a large range, it would become the Tata SUV that can travel the most kilometers on a single charge.
Harrier EV Showcase Information
Some information about the Harrier EV was revealed at the showcase this year. The current ICE model’s facelifted version includes triangular headlamp surrounds, a new grill (empty for the EV), fresh LED taillights, front, and rear LED light bars. The Harrier electric’s instrument console may feature a temperature gauge, time, mobile connectivity, music, home, and search icons, and notifications.
Specifications of Harrier EV
The Harrier EV includes a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a fully digital color instrument cluster, an electric parking brake with an auto-hold function, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, drive modes, and a new gear dial. The manufacturer has not yet announced the specifications and details of the battery pack.
