Testing prototype of Tata Punch Electric spotted at a charging station and is expected to launch around the 2023 festive season. The Tata Punch EV can be seen with a front charging socket unlike the side placement on the current electric line-up. The exterior design will be similar to the regular Punch, but with blue highlights to give it an electric character. It may also have a new set of EV-specific alloy wheels. The interiors will have the same features as the regular ICE version, but with some additional features such as an updated 10.25-inch infotainment system and a new two-spoke steering wheel. The testing prototype was also seen with all four disc brakes.
Tata’s Gen 2 Sigma architecture will be used for the Punch Electric, which will be the first EV in the lineup. It will use a battery pack with a capacity of around 30kWh, providing a range of around 300 km. There may also be a base spec version available.
