Maruti Ertiga Emerges as Best Selling 7-Seater Car in July

Maruti Ertiga, the 7-seater car, has been declared as the best-selling car in July. The sales of Maruti Ertiga witnessed a significant surge last month, allowing it to secure a position in the top-5 best-selling cars. In July 2023, a total of 14,352 units of Maruti Ertiga were sold, marking a 48% increase compared to the same period last year when 9,694 units were sold.

Ertiga, a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), competes with Innova and Carens in the MPV market. Despite being cheaper than its competitors, Maruti Ertiga outperformed both Innova and Carens in terms of sales. In July 2023, the combined sales of Toyota Innova Highcross and Crysta were 8,935 units, which increased by 29% compared to July 2022. Kia Carens remained the top-selling MPV after Innova, with a total of 6,002 units sold in July 2023, showing no significant change in its sales.

The price range of Maruti Ertiga is between Rs 8.64 Lakh to Rs 13.08 Lakh (Ex-showroom). It is equipped with a 1.5-litre Dualjet petrol engine that features mild hybrid technology. This engine delivers an output of 103 PS and 136.8 Nm on petrol and 88 PS and 121.5 Nm on CNG. The car provides a mileage of 26KM on CNG and is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox as an option.
