To cater to the Indian market, Toyota Kirloskar Motors has officially launched the Toyota Rumion as its most affordable 7-seater car. The car is based on Maruti Suzuki’s popular MPV, the Maruti Ertiga, with some cosmetic changes made by Toyota. The car is available in 3 variants and 6 trims, including an option for CNG. The price of the Toyota Rumion ranges from INR 10.29 lakh to INR 11.24 lakh (ex-showroom).

Features of Toyota Rumion
The Toyota Rumion comes equipped with various features such as a 17.78 cm infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Toyota i-Connect, dual front airbags, front seat side airbags, ABS, EBD, engine immobilizer, ESP, dual-tone interior, and wood finish dashboard.
Design of Toyota Rumion
The Toyota Rumion has undergone some cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the Maruti Ertiga. It features a different grille inspired by the Innova and a unique front bumper with chrome surround for the air dam. The only change in the side profile is the inclusion of alloy wheels, which are finished in a dual-tone machine finish.

The Toyota Rumion is powered by Maruti’s 1.5-liter petrol engine, which delivers 103 hp of power and 137 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Toyota will also offer the Rumion with a factory-fitted CNG option, which provides 88 hp of power and 121.5 Nm of torque in CNG mode. The petrol version offers a mileage of 20.51 km/l, while the CNG version provides a mileage of 26.11 km/kg.
