Oil marketing companies across the nation have released the latest prices of diesel and petrol. However, the prices in the four major cities, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, remain unchanged. In India, fuel prices are revised at 6 AM every day. Before June 2017, the prices used to change every 15 days.
Current Petrol and Diesel Prices in Four Major Indian Cities
In Delhi, petrol is priced at 96.72 rupees per litre and diesel at 89.62 rupees per litre. In Mumbai, petrol is priced at 106.31 rupees per litre and diesel at 94.27 rupees per litre. In Kolkata, petrol is priced at 106.03 rupees per litre and diesel at 92.76 rupees per litre. In Chennai, petrol is priced at 102.63 rupees per litre and diesel at 94.24 rupees per litre.

Customers can check the daily prices of petrol and diesel via SMS. Indian Oil customers can send an SMS writing RSP followed by their city code to 9224992249 to receive the information. BPCL customers can do the same by sending an SMS with RSP and their city code to the same number. HPCL customers can type HPPRICE followed by their city code and send it to receive the prices.
