Robbers looted 12 lakh worth of jewelry from a shop in Chhapra
A group of criminals posing as customers looted jewelry worth 12 lakh rupees from a jewelry shop and managed to escape easily in Chhapra’s Baniyapur market. The incident created a sensation in the area, prompting the police to arrive at the scene and start investigating the case.
Police investigating the robbery using CCTV footage
According to information received, two robbers on a bike looted jewelry worth 12 lakhs at gunpoint from a jewelry shop in the Baniyapur Thana area and fled the scene. The police have started examining the CCTV footage to identify the criminals involved in the robbery. The incident occurred around 3:30 pm when the shop owner was present at the store.
Efforts underway to arrest the culprits
The thieves entered the shop under the guise of customers, pulled out a pistol in front of the shopkeeper, and fled with a bag containing around 200 grams of gold and a silver jewelry item. The shopkeeper raised an alarm after the incident, but the robbers had already left on their bike. The police are taking the case seriously and are working towards apprehending the suspects soon.
