554th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj to be Celebrated in Bhagalpur

The 554th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj will be celebrated today in Bhagalpur. This marks the culmination of the three-day Prakash Parv celebrations. Media coordinator Harpreet Singh informed that on Monday, 27th November, a grand procession will be taken out from Gurudwara Nanakmatta Sahib to Gurudwara Nanak Nagar Sahib.

Religious Procession to Commemorate the Occasion

The procession will include the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism, which will be carried in a palanquin. Devotees will participate in the procession and pay their respects. The procession will pass through various parts of Bhagalpur, spreading the teachings and message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj was the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus. His teachings emphasized the importance of equality, selfless service, and devotion to God. His message of love, compassion, and unity continues to inspire millions of people around the world.

The Prakash Parv celebrations include various religious and cultural activities, such as kirtan (devotional singing), langar (community kitchen), and lectures on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. These celebrations aim to promote peace, harmony, and brotherhood among people of different faiths.
