Adhaar Centers in Bihar Facing Closure
As per the Department of Posts (Bihar Circle), out of the 580 Adhaar centers in the 25 divisions, only 139 are currently operational. The remaining 441 centers have been closed for various reasons for several months. This has led to thousands of people being disappointed and having to return empty-handed from the closed Adhaar centers every day.
Nearly Two Hundred Adhaar Centers Shut Down
Out of the 222 Adhaar centers in the North region, only 27 are functioning. In addition, 195 centers have been closed for several months. In Siwan division, none of the 33 centers are operational. In Muzaffarpur division, only 2 out of 24 centers are currently operational.
Only 62 out of 181 Adhaar Centers Operating in the Central Region
Among the 181 Adhaar centers in the Central region, only 62 are currently operational. The rest 119 centers are closed for various reasons. In Vaishali division, only 7 out of 24 centers are operational, while in Bhojpur division, only 7 out of 39 centers are functioning.
Trouble in the Eastern Region as Well
In the Eastern region, out of the total 177 Adhaar centers, only 50 are operational. In Bhagalpur division, out of 32 centers, only 4 are functioning. Technical reasons have led to the closure of many centers, with delays in new registrations and system issues being major concerns.
बिहार के पटना में डाक विभाग के 25 डिवीजन के 580 डाकघरों में से केवल 139 आधार सेंटर संचालित हैं, जबकि शेष सेंटर विभिन्न कारणों से पिछले कई माह से बंद पड़े हैं। इसके कारण हर दिन हजारों लोगों को बंद पड़े आधार सेंटर से निराश होकर लौटना पड़ रहा है। तकनीकी कारणों के चलते अधिकतर सेंटर बंद हैं, जिससे लोगों को आधार से संबंधित काम में दिक्कतें आ रही हैं।
