ACB Team Arrests Assistant Engineer in Palamu
The ACB team in Palamu arrested Assistant Engineer and Sub-Divisional Officer Anuj Kumar Ravi from the Chinia block office on Wednesday morning while taking a bribe. Anuj Kumar Ravi (28) was caught red-handed taking a bribe of five thousand rupees at his home. He had demanded a bribe of 5% from the complainant for signing on the measurement book after the construction of a pond under MGNREGA.
ACB’s Strategy
The ACB team prepared a strategy to catch the corrupt engineer red-handed. The complainant agreed to pay the bribe amount to the engineer, who had called him to his home. As soon as the bribe of five thousand rupees was paid, the ACB team, which was already present, nabbed the engineer. The ACB team from Garhwa took the engineer to the Palamu regional office after conducting a medical test. The process of sending the arrested engineer to jail is underway.
Corruption Unveiled
The incident revealed the corrupt practices of the Assistant Engineer who was demanding bribes for signing official documents. The complainant’s cooperation with the ACB team led to the arrest of the corrupt engineer. An amount of nearly five lakh rupees was involved in the corruption case. The ACB team ensured that the engineer was caught and legal action was taken against him.

The arrested engineer, Anuj Kumar Ravi, hailing from Chinia Ranka Thakur Tola in Garhwa district, is undergoing the legal process for his corrupt actions. The ACB team’s swift action in catching the corrupt official has set an example of zero tolerance towards corruption in public offices.
एसीबी की पलामू टीम ने बुधवार की सुबह घूस लेते हुए चिनिया प्रखंड कार्यालय के सहायक अभियंता सह प्रखंड कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी अनुज कुमार रवि को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। बीपीओ अनुज कुमार रवि (28) पांच हजार रुपए घूस लेते हुए अपने घर पर रंगे हाथ पकड़े गए। शिकायतकर्ता ने बीपीओ को घूस की रकम देने पर सहमति जताई, जिसके बाद उसे गिरफ्तार किया गया। अब उसे जेल भेजने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की गई है।
