A tragic accident occurred in Madhepura district, where the District Magistrate’s Innova car was involved in an accident resulting in four fatalities. An NHAI worker, who was seriously injured, was undergoing treatment at DMCH. However, on Wednesday night, he succumbed to his injuries. The deceased worker has been identified as Ashok Singh, a resident of Sarki Jawanpura village in Shahpur Thana area of Jaipur district, Rajasthan. Another worker named Raju Singh had also sustained injuries but was discharged after treatment. So far, there has been no statement from the Madhepura DM regarding the incident.
Upon receiving information from the hospital administration, the police conducted a post-mortem of the deceased worker’s body and handed over the bodies of his fellow workers, Rahul Sharma and Yash Sharma. Rahul and Yash revealed that they had been working as laborers in NHAI for nearly ten years. They informed that Ashok Singh had left behind his wife and two sons and they were taking his body back to Rajasthan for the final rites.
It should be noted that two days ago, a horrific accident occurred in which three people, including a mother and daughter, lost their lives. The incident occurred in the Fulparsa Thana area on NH 57. The speeding Innova car had collided with three individuals, causing their deaths. The fourth victim passed away on Wednesday night. The public is still angry and demanding answers as the Madhepura DM has not yet provided a statement regarding the accidents. There should be a high-level investigation into this matter.
