Accident on Jamui-Lakhisarai Main Road
A Swift car collided with a tree on the side of the road near Bhajor village on Wednesday morning. The car had four Kanwariyas and three children on board, resulting in injuries to all seven individuals. The impact of the collision caused the airbag in the car to deploy, saving the lives of the passengers. All the injured are residents of Hajipur and were returning from Devghar after performing puja on Wednesday morning.
Details of the Accident
As the car approached near Bhajor village on the Jamui-Lakhisarai main road around 3:30 AM, the driver lost control due to overspeeding and fell asleep. The car hit a tree with such force that people nearby thought a bomb had exploded. Upon inspection, it was found that the car had collided with a tree and all lights were still on. The police from the Town police station, patrolling on the main road, were informed about the incident.
Police Response and Medical Assistance
The police reached the scene with the help of local residents and evacuated all the injured from the car to the nearest hospital for treatment. Two of the injured are in critical condition and are receiving medical attention. The Town police station in-charge, Arun Kumar, confirmed that a Swift car had collided with a tree on the roadside, injuring four Kanwariyas and three minors. Further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
