Accident on Mohania State Highway in Buxar
An accident occurred on the under-construction bridge on Mohania State Highway in Buxar, where a bike lost control and fell into a pit. The rider of the bike died in the accident, while the pillion rider was seriously injured and is currently undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
Rescue Operation and Victims’ Details
Passersby rescued both the victims from the pit and informed the Rajpur police station. The police immediately rushed the injured to the hospital and sent the body of the deceased for postmortem. The bike was pulled out of the pit with the help of a crane.
Details of the Victims and Incident
The victims, Nirmal Ram (33) and Munna Ram, residents of Shukravaliya village, were on their way to attend a meeting in Nuaonva, Kamur district. Nirmal Ram’s wife works at Jeevika and they were returning when the accident occurred near Jalilpur Panchayat in Rajpur police station area.
Investigation and Safety Measures
The condition of the injured Munna Ram remains critical, and the police are investigating the case. Safety barricades have been set up by the work agency, and further action is being taken regarding the accident. It is suspected that the bike was speeding and lost control due to the narrow road, leading to the accident.
बक्सर के चौसा मोहनिया स्टेट हाईवे पर निर्माणाधीन पुल के गड्ढे में बेकाबू होकर बाइक जाकर गिर गई। इस हादसे में बाइक चला रहे व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई और पीछे बैठे व्यक्ति गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। घायल को अस्पताल में भर्ती किया गया है जबकि मृत व्यक्ति का शव पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया है। घटना की जांच की जा रही है और घायल की हालत अभी भी गंभीर है। थाना अध्यक्ष ने बताया कि काम एजेंसी के तरफ से सुरक्षात्मक घेराबंदी की गई है और दुर्घटनाग्रस्त बाइक को जब्त कर आगे की कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
