Floods in Muzaffarpur
Late on Thursday night in Muzaffarpur, the embankment of the Tirhut canal could not withstand the fast flow of water and a part of it, over 50 feet, was destroyed. As soon as the embankment broke, floodwater started spreading in the village. The villagers were terrified after the incident and immediately informed the water resources department. A team was sent to repair the embankment.

It has been reported that the Tirhut canal in Ward 13 of Raksa Panchayat has been flooded about 50 feet. As a result, water entered the homes of many people in Ward 13, Ward 14, Ward 15, and Ward 16 of Raksa Panchayat. Due to this, the villagers stayed awake all night. The engineers and regional officials of the water resources department closed the main gate of the canal. Meanwhile, the police and senior officials are camping in the Karja police station.

Villagers Angry
The villagers were quite angry because the senior officials did not arrive until late at night. The situation is being closely monitored to prevent any further damage. The repair work is ongoing and efforts are being made to ensure the safety of the villagers and their homes. The incident has caused panic among the residents of the affected areas. The authorities are working to address the situation and provide relief to those affected by the floods.
