Devotional Celebration in Sheikhpura

In front of the Khandpar Mohalla in Sheikhpura Nagar Kshetra, a grand procession was held on Sunday for the Akhand Ramdhuni Mahayagna on the mountain top. Thousands of devotees danced, sang, and cheered near the mountain, as Baburam Talab, the organizer, led the procession with 251 women and unmarried girls carrying pots on their heads for a pilgrimage of about 5 kilometers around the city.

Details of the Mahayagna

The Akhand Ramdhuni Mahayagna was organized as part of the festivities. The organizing committee’s official, Guddu Mahato, mentioned that after the procession on Sunday, the Vedi Puja and Arani Manthan will be performed on Monday to create fire and start the continuous Ramdhuni Mahayagna chanting.

Schedule of Events

The schedule includes immersion of the pot on August 8th morning, Vedi Puja on Tuesday morning, a grand Aarti in the evening, Vedi Puja on Wednesday along with the completion of the Yagna, Brahmin feast, and distribution of meals to young girls as Prasad. The immersion of the pot, Satyanarayan Swami Puja, and Prasad distribution will take place on Thursday, August 8th.

Devotional Atmosphere in the District

The entire district is immersed in devotion during the month of Sawan. Every day of Sawan, especially on Mondays, devotees are showing great enthusiasm in going to temples and performing Jalabhishek to Lord Bhole Shankar. People are invited to participate as a family in this spiritual event organized on the mountain in front of Khandpar to earn blessings.

शेखपुरा नगर क्षेत्र के खांडपर मोहल्ले में रविवार को अखंड रामधुनी महायज्ञ को लेकर भव्य कलश यात्रा निकाली गई। खांड पर पहाड़ के निकट हजारों की संख्या में श्रद्धालु नाचते-गाते और जयकारा लगाते हुए बाबूराम तालाब, मक.कलश यात्रा में 251 महिलाएं और कुंवारी कन्याएं अपने माथे पर कलश लेकर शहर की परिक्रमा की। इसके बाद सोमवार को महायज्ञ का आयोजन किया गया और वेदी पूजन और अरणी मंथन के बाद अग्नि पैदा कर अखंड रामधुनी महायज्ञ संकीर्तन प्रारंभ किया जाएगा। इसके बाद विभिन्न अनुष्ठान और पूजा कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे।
