According to a letter from the railway board, the weekly Amrit Bharat Express service from Panvel to Alipurduar will stop at Novagachia. This means people can travel directly and quickly from Bengal to Maharashtra.

The train number 11031 will run from Panvel to Alipurduar every Monday, while train number 11032 will go back every Thursday. The route includes key stations like Kalyan, Nasik Road, Itarsi, and others, finally reaching Alipurduar.

This new stop is seen as a big boost for local development. It is expected to enhance job opportunities, trade, education, and even tourism in the area.

Besides this, the Amrit Bharat Express will soon start running from Patna to Mumbai. The East Central Railway is preparing for this new service, which has already received approval from the railway board.
