Good news for the people of Mithila before the start of the new year. The operation of the Amrit Bharat train between Darbhanga and Anand Vihar via Ayodhya Dham will begin. The inauguration of this train will take place on December 30, 2023. Providing detailed information about its regular operation, CPRO Veerendra Kumar stated that the Amrit Bharat train will be equipped with modern and world-class facilities between Darbhanga and Anand Vihar via Ayodhya Dham. The operation of the Amrit Bharat train from Ayodhya Dham Junction to Darbhanga will be inaugurated as a special train on December 30, 2023.
Regular operation from January 1st
CPRO Veerendra Kumar mentioned that the regular operation of Train No. 15557/15558 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat train will start from January 1, 2024. This train will be operated twice a week between Darbhanga and Anand Vihar. It will be operated from Darbhanga on Mondays and Thursdays, and from Anand Vihar on Tuesdays and Fridays. From January 1, 2024, Train No. 15557 Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat train will depart from Darbhanga at 15:00 and reach Anand Vihar at 12:35 the next day, with a stop at Ayodhya Dham at 02:30. On the return journey, Train No. 15558 Anand Vihar-Darbhanga Amrit Bharat train will depart from Anand Vihar at 15:10 and reach Darbhanga at 11:50 the next day, with a stop at Ayodhya Dham at 01:10.
Route of the Train
This train will have a total of 24 coaches, including 11 sleeper class coaches, 9 general class coaches, and 2 SLRD coaches. In the up and down direction, the train will stop at Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi, Bairgania, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Manakapur, Ayodhya Dham, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Etawah, Tundla, and Aligarh stations between Darbhanga and Anand Vihar.
