Another Serious Allegation on CEO of a Region in Bihar
An FIR has been registered after serious allegations were made against the CEO of a region in Bihar. This is the second incident this year where a CEO has been accused of committing a crime, leading to the filing of a case. As per the court’s orders, a case of gang rape has been registered against the CEO of Kanti region in Muzaffarpur, along with two other accused. A woman has accused all three of them of sexually assaulting her in the office and later threatening and gang raping her at her residence.
Increasing Cold Weather in Bihar
The temperature has dropped below 10 degrees Celsius in Bihar, with further decrease expected in certain districts. A 22-year-old woman from Rambagh, under the jurisdiction of Mithanpura police station, has filed a complaint against the CEO and two others, accusing them of gang rape. The woman approached the court and registered her complaint with the help of her lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha. The court had ordered the filing of a preliminary case under section 156(3). Based on this order, the Kanti police have filed the case.
Accusations Against the CEO
The complainant alleged that on August 8, 2023, the CEO called her to his office under the pretext of a job offer. She claimed that when she went to his office, he sexually assaulted her after offering her the job. On August 11, 2023, the CEO called her to his residence, where he, along with the two other accused, gang raped her. This is another case in Bihar where a CEO has been accused of such a crime.
Similar Incident in Bhagalpur
In May this year, a similar incident occurred in Bhagalpur, where the former CEO of Narayanpur region, Ajay Kumar Sarkar, was arrested by the Navgachhia police. A woman had accused him of attempted rape. The accused CEO was apprehended from a rented flat. The woman had called the police herself, who arrived at the scene. She alleged that the CEO had called her to the room with land documents to carry out some paperwork, but when she reached there, he forcefully assaulted her.
बिहार में एक अंचल के सीओ पर सामूहिक दुष्कर्म का आरोप लगने के बाद अब एक और मामला सामने आया है। इस मामले में मुजफ्फरपुर के कांटी अंचल के सीओ राजशेखर समेत तीन आरोपितों पर सामूहिक दुष्कर्म का केस दर्ज किया गया है। इस मामले में एक महिला ने इन तीनों के ऊपर गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं, जिसमें सीओ ने नौकरी का प्रलोभन देकर पहले दफ्तर में यौन शोषण किया और बाद में अपने आवास पर बुलाकर सामूहिक दुष्कर्म किया है। यह दूसरा मामला है जब बिहार में किसी सीओ पर दुष्कर्म का आरोप लगा है। अब इस मामले में अदालत ने सख्त आदेश जारी किया है और केस दर्ज कर दिया है। यह मामला एक महिला के द्वारा लगाए गए गंभीर आरोपों का है, जिसमें सीओ ने नौकरी का प्रलोभन देकर दुष्कर्म करने की बात कही गयी है।
