Kishanganj Railway Board Approvals
The Railway Board has approved several important projects in Kishanganj, which will benefit passengers traveling to Seemanchal, West Bengal, and Nepal. A new railway line of 24.40 kilometers between Thakurganj and Chaterhat (Rangapani and Dhumdangi) will provide direct rail connectivity from Thakurganj Junction to NJP.
International Terminal in Galgalia
Additionally, a new railway line of 12.5 kilometers will be constructed from Galgalia to Kajli Bazar (Nepal), with the Railway Board also approving the final location survey for this project. The construction of an international terminal by the railway in Galgalia will further enhance connectivity in the region.
New Rail Line Approval
Approval has also been granted for a new 190-kilometer railway line from Biratnagar (Jogbani) to New Mal Junction (Malbazar) via Thakurganj-Bagdogra. The construction of these new lines in strategic locations will benefit passengers by reducing travel time and increasing security measures.
किशनगंज में रेलवे बोर्ड ने कई महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दी है। इन परियोजनाओं में ठाकुरगंज-चटेरहाट के बीच नई रेलवे लाइन, गलगलिया में एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय टर्मिनल, भद्रपुर से कजली बाजार तक की नई रेल लाइन और न्यू माल जंक्शन तक की नई रेल लाइन शामिल है। इन परियोजनाओं से यात्रियों को सुविधा मिलेगी और सुरक्षा बल को भी फायदा होगा। इससे यात्रियों को कम समय में लंबी दूरी तय करने की सुविधा मिलेगी।
