District Magistrate Inayat Khan provided tricycles to 38 differently-abled individuals at the Collectorate premises on Saturday. All tricycles are motor-operated. The DM waved a green flag and sent them off. On this occasion, four individuals were given fixed deposits of 1 lakh rupees each under the Chief Minister’s Inter-caste Marriage Incentive Scheme, and two individuals were given fixed deposits of 1 lakh rupees each under the Disabled Marriage Incentive Scheme. In addition to this, six regular tricycles, one Vaisakhi tricycle, and one Shravan machine were also distributed. The differently-abled individuals received tricycles, which will provide them with convenience in their movement.
