Ara Junction in Bhojpur, Bihar has recently been given several important responsibilities by the Indian Railways. New train connections have been established and a washing pit has been constructed. With the aim of providing better passenger facilities, managing pollution, waste management, and environmental conservation, Ara Junction has been selected for certification.

After receiving the certification, the station manager, N.K. Rai, expressed enthusiasm among the railway staff at Ara Junction. He stated that they will continue to strive for better performance to ensure successful journeys for passengers.

Ara Junction has received certification from ISO 14001 for its efforts in providing better passenger facilities, managing pollution, waste management, and environmental conservation. The certification was provided by DK Business Services and Assessment UK. The station manager, N.K. Rai, was given the certificate by the organization.

Ara Junction is also recognized for its good position in terms of passenger revenue. It falls under the A category. The junction witnesses the arrival of 160 trains daily. As part of the Amrit Yojana, Ara Junction is currently undergoing development, including the installation of a lift and escalator, as well as five water vending machines. According to the station manager, N.K. Rai, Ara Junction has received ISO certificate for Environment Management System.
