**Tragic Death of ASI Satyendra Singh**

In Ara, Bihar, an ASI lost his life after falling and getting cut by a train while on election duty. The body of the deceased was taken to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased ASI was identified as Satyendra Singh, son of the late Kameshwar Singh from Berath village in the Chouri Thana area.

**Duty and Tragic Incident**

Satyendra Singh was posted as an ASI in Supaul Thana in Supaul district. He was on his way from Supaul to Kaimur for election duty on Sunday but had to stop in Ara due to feeling unwell. After receiving treatment from a doctor here, he was boarding the Bhagalpur-Patna Intercity train on Tuesday morning when he slipped and fell under the train, resulting in his untimely death.

**Career and Family Details**

Satyendra Singh had started his job as a constable 16 years ago and had recently been promoted to the rank of ASI. He was on his way to conduct elections in Kaimur during the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections when the tragic incident occurred. The service pistol and 25 bullets of the deceased ASI were recovered from the scene and seized by the RPF.

**Family and Legal Procedures**

Satyendra Singh is survived by his wife Pinki Devi, a son, and a daughter. Since the news of the incident broke, everyone has been in a state of shock and grief. After the post-mortem of the body at the Sadar Hospital, the legal procedures were completed, and the body was handed over to the family members.
