Shweta Shahi, born in a farmer’s family in Bhadari village of Silav block of Nalanda district and brought up in the village itself, has today become the national and international face of Bihar in women’s rugby game. Shweta understood the nuances of rugby through YouTube and crossed the journey to China by playing in the fields and fields of the village itself. Shweta started playing with her brother Sudhanshu Kumar Shahi after getting information about the game through YouTube while studying in ninth. Bhai has also been a gold medalist at the national level.
