Assam CM’s Statement

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the Congress party and Lalu Yadav are still stuck behind the Ram Temple issue. He mentioned that if these parties come into power, they will bring back the Ram Lalla idol in a tent. Sarma also appealed to the people to vote for BJP candidate Mithilesh Tiwari, who is supported by the NDA.

Appeal for Votes

During a rally in Arjunpur Maidan, Sarma appealed to the voters to support Tiwari and questioned the opposition’s demands for exactly 400 seats. He emphasized that they are happy with 399 seats, but get angry when 400 are mentioned. Sarma also mentioned the financial background of independent candidate Anand Mishra and accused him of serving BJP despite previous affiliations with the Congress.

Call for 400 Seats

Sarma urged the people to give PM Modi 400 seats for the upcoming elections, promising to build a temple in Banaras and another in the birthplace of Lord Krishna. He highlighted the historical connection between Bihar and Assam and called for a unified support for BJP. The need for more than 400 seats was stressed to implement a Uniform Civil Code and strengthen institutions like the CBI.

Support from BJP Leaders

The BJP leaders welcomed Sarma in a grand manner during his visit to Buxar. Party candidates, social workers, and other officials adorned him with floral garlands and silver crowns. The event saw the presence of various dignitaries and supporters, with a collective call for a strong mandate of over 400 seats for the BJP to lead the country towards economic prosperity and anti-corruption measures.
