Attack on Mahadalit Mukhiya in Navada
In a fearless attack, criminals opened fire on the car of Mahadalit Mukhiya and JDU leader Ranvijay Paswan in Navada. The Mukhiya’s nephew, Rajbali Paswan, was shot in the hand, resulting in serious injuries. The incident took place near the brick kiln in Dalalpur village in the Naradiganj police station area on Tuesday night. Rajbali Paswan was admitted to Sadar hospital with the help of locals and later referred to Pawapuri BIMS after initial treatment.
Accusations and Details of the Incident
The victim Mukhiya, Ranvijay Paswan, stated that on Tuesday night at 11 pm, he was returning home in his car with his nephew. Suddenly, four criminals arrived near the brick kiln in Dalalpur village and opened fire. The Mukhiya accused Mukesh Singh, Toon Toon Singh, Arvind Singh, and Vikki Singh, residents of Padpa village in the Naradiganj police station area, of firing at them. The attack was allegedly due to an old enmity.
Current Situation and Police Investigation
Rajbali Paswan was injured in the incident and is currently undergoing treatment. The police have been informed about the incident, and they are investigating the matter at the crime scene. It is worth mentioning that on June 13, in the Pakriwaraba block of the district, Mahadalit Mukhiya Pappu Manjhi was shot dead by criminals, indicating a rise in such violent incidents in the area.
