The long-standing demand for a central government school in Bagaha is finally moving forward. After Valmiki Nagar MP Sunil Kumar Kushwaha raised the issue, the Bihar Education Department has officially initiated the process. The administration has started looking for a suitable plot to establish the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bagaha-2. This development brings hope to thousands of parents and students in the region who want access to central board education.

What is the current status of the land search?

The District Education Officer of West Champaran, Ravindra Kumar, has issued a formal directive to the local authorities. He has instructed the Circle Officer of Bagaha-2 to identify and demarcate 2.5 acres of government land for the school. Circle Officer Wasim Akram confirmed receiving the letter and stated that the physical search for the land has already begun. As per the rules, the state government must provide this land free of cost to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

How will this school help the students?

Once the land is identified and the proposal is approved, the construction process will begin. The new Kendriya Vidyalaya will provide high-quality education based on the CBSE curriculum to children in the Bagaha subdivision. This will significantly help local students prepare for national-level competitive exams without leaving their hometown. The administration is also required to provide a temporary rent-free building to start classes while the permanent campus is being built.
