पश्चिम चम्पारण के आशीष कुमार को पश्चिम चम्पारण स्थित वाल्मिकी टाइगर रिजर्व में नए साल के पहले दिन ही बाघ का दीदार हुआ। उन्होंने बताया कि वीटीआर में बाघ दिखते ही नहीं हैं, लेकिन यहां के राजा ने हमें साल के पहले दिन ही दर्शन दे दिया। सफारी के दौरान उन्हें हिरण, तेंदुआ, चीतल, मोर और अन्य जानवरों का भी दीदार करने का मौका मिला। पटना से आए पर्यटकों को भी बाघ का दीदार हुआ और उन्होंने इसे खुद से कैमरे में फिल्माया। आशीष के साथ वीटीआर पहुंची संगीता ने बताया कि उन्होंने अपने परिवार के साथ वीटीआर पहुंचने के लिए 300 किलोमीटर का सफर तय किया था। वाल्मिकी टाइगर रिजर्व का मंगुराहा रेंज बाघों सहित अन्य जानवरों का बसेरा है और इसके अलावा अन्य रेंजों में भी सफारी के दौरान जंगली जानवर देखे जा सकते हैं।
