The Baiyyappanahalli Railway Police have caught two men involved in a theft on a train. This incident happened on January 2, when a passenger named Krishna Kumar was traveling to Danapur.

The accused, Safar and Sataram, are from Bihar and were arrested after they reportedly drugged Krishna Kumar with tea that contained sedatives. After he fell asleep, they stole his gold chain, ₹4,000 in cash, and his bag.

This robbery was reported to the police, who quickly launched an investigation. The police managed to apprehend the two men while they were trying to steal from another passenger shortly after the first incident.

Passengers are being warned to be careful and not accept food or drinks from anyone they don’t know while traveling by train. Staying alert is important to avoid such situations.

The police are now questioning the arrested men to find out if they are involved in other similar crimes. They are urging everyone to report any suspicious behavior during their journeys.
