Bank Robbery in Araria District of Bihar
In a major incident, a bank robbery took place in Araria district of Bihar in broad daylight. According to reports, armed robbers targeted Axis Bank located at Adibi Chowk in Araria city and carried out the robbery. There are also reports of two rounds of firing during the incident. As soon as the information was received, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashok Kumar Singh along with the police force reached the crime scene and the investigation is currently underway. Sources suggest that the robbers looted more than 90 lakh rupees from the bank branch, although this has not been officially confirmed yet.
