Shooting Incident in Banka
In the Rajoun police station area of Banka, a youth from Begusarai was shot by four criminals. After shooting him, the criminals fled with the money they looted, and there was also a brief scuffle with the youth. During the scuffle, the youth was hit by a bullet while trying to escape, causing him to fall to the ground.
Arrest of Criminals
Upon receiving the information, the local police reached the scene and launched a manhunt to arrest the criminals. It is reported that all the criminals managed to escape waving their weapons. The incident took place on Monday night, and on Tuesday, a forensic team was examining the crime scene.
Details of the Victim
The victim, Aryan Kumar, a resident of Begusarai, was returning to Amarapur. Near Khaira Railway Crossing in the Rajoun police station area, two bikers stopped Aryan’s bike and attempted to rob him. A fight broke out between the criminals and Aryan when he resisted. Suddenly, one of the criminals fired a shot at Aryan, hitting his hand as he tried to escape.
Police Investigation
Aryan Kumar, who works as a finance worker in the Amarapur block of Banka, occasionally has to collect money even at night. The Station House Officer, Chandradeep Kumar, stated that the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident and taking further legal action. The CCTV footage from the surrounding areas is also being examined to gather more evidence.
