Bhagalpur’s District Magistrate held a meeting to review various departments’ performance and ensure improvements in public services.


In Bhagalpur, a key meeting took place on Wednesday led by District Magistrate Dr. Naval Kishore Chaudhary. The focus was on reviewing the inspection report from November 18, where he evaluated the condition of different government departments.

During the meeting, officials shared that many issues were found in important areas like cash management, housing schemes, and public grievance systems. The DM stressed the need for immediate action in areas requiring improvement.

The DM instructed the sub-divisional officers to inspect all municipal bodies in their areas between Saturday and Monday. They must report back on the quality of ongoing construction work, which will be checked by engineers from other departments.

Additionally, the DM emphasized that inspections should also cover schools, hospitals, and public distribution shops. Special attention will be paid to cleanliness, toilet conditions, and the quality of education in schools.

In response to complaints about arbitrary admissions, the DM ordered a crackdown on employees who are unfairly rejecting applications. He also directed officials to visit areas on Police Station Day to address serious issues and demanded explanations for the damaged road at Rangra Chowk.
