A Bhojpuri singer in Patna has filed a case against her boyfriend, an actor, alleging sexual exploitation and harassment.

In Patna, a 31-year-old Bhojpuri singer has taken legal action against her boyfriend, Amarendra Pratap Singh, who is also a Bhojpuri actor. She claims he has exploited and harassed her during their live-in relationship. They had been together for five years, and she says Amarendra promised to marry her, leading to their physical relationship.

As time went on, when she began to push for marriage, Amarendra started to avoid her. The singer has accused him of becoming abusive, both physically and mentally. She reported that he even slapped her in public at Patna Junction during one of their confrontations.

During their relationship, they collaborated on many stage shows and released over 12 albums. However, the pressure for marriage created tension between them. The singer stated that whenever she tried to distance herself, Amarendra would harass her, even attempting to stop her from traveling to another city.

She alleges that his aggressive behavior peaked on multiple occasions, including threats to kill her and ruin her life. This left her feeling mentally disturbed and anxious. Despite her attempts to report this to the women’s police station, no action was taken until she sought help from the court.

After the court’s intervention, a case has now been filed against Amarendra at the SC/ST police station in Patna. The police have confirmed that they are investigating the matter and will take appropriate action based on the findings.
