Summary:

  • A grocery shopkeeper named Shardanand Singh alias Tunna Singh was strangled to death and his face was burnt with acid by miscreants in Jagdishpur, West Champaran. The body was found on the banks of Dhanoti river near Bahuarwa village.

  • An FIR has been lodged by the deceased’s wife and eight people, including the deceased’s family members, have been named as accused. Two of the accused have been arrested, while the others are still at large.
