Rajya Cabinet Meeting Decisions
In a recent meeting of the state cabinet held after 3 months, state employees were given a gift of increased house rent allowance ranging from 1 to 6%. This increase comes after 7 years and will be effective from January 2024. Additionally, unemployed individuals in Bihar will now receive an allowance under the Bihar Unemployment Allowance Rules-2024, where applicants must apply for employment within 15 days to receive daily unemployment benefits.
House Rent Allowance Increase
Under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, the cabinet meeting approved a total of 25 proposals. The existing rates of house rent allowance for government employees have been revised based on the recommendations of the State Pay Commission. The allowance has been increased by 1 to 6%, varying based on the city tier classification. This decision aims to provide relief to government employees amidst rising inflation.
Approval for Special Schemes
Approval has been granted for the Akshar Anchal Scheme, which will provide financial aid of 774 crores to marginalized communities such as Dalits, minorities, and backward classes. This scheme is expected to benefit around 30,000 employees, including those working in training centers and educational institutions. The government is focused on enhancing facilities and opportunities for its citizens.
Enhancing Online Services
In an effort to improve convenience and efficiency, the Bihar government has decided to provide land maps and documents online. All revenue-related documents, land records, and important paperwork will now be scanned and stored digitally. This initiative aims to streamline the application process and make essential documents easily accessible to the public.
बिहार सरकार ने 3 महीने बाद हुई कैबिनेट मीटिंग में राज्यकर्मियों को 1 से 6% तक बढ़े हुए मकान किराया भत्ता की सौगात दी है। इसके साथ ही बेरोजगारों को भी भत्ता मिलने की मंजूरी दी गई है। अक्टूबर 2017 में अंतिम बार भत्ता बढ़ा था। इसके अलावा, बिहार में अक्षर आंचल योजना के तहत 774 करोड़ रुपए की स्वीकृति दी गई है। इसके साथ ही राजस्व दस्तावेज और राजस्व प्रशासन के सभी पुराने न्यायिक आदेश और भू-अभिलेख ऑनलाइन मिलेंगे। इसके अलावा, कॉन्टिजेंसी फंड में भी इजाफा किया गया है।
