Appointment as Secretary in Central Government
Bihar cadre IAS officer Sandeep Poundrik has been appointed as Secretary in the Central Government. He has been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Steel. The Central Cabinet Ministry has issued the orders for his appointment.
About IAS Officer Sandeep Poundrik
IAS officer Sandeep Poundrik is a Bihar cadre officer. He belongs to the 1993 batch of IAS officers and hails from Rajasthan. He is known for his efficient and proactive work. Currently, he holds important positions in the Bihar government, serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Industry Department. He has been posted in the Industry Department since 2022 and is also responsible for the IDA. He is set to retire on October 31, 2028.
Transfer to Central Deputation
The Industry Additional Chief Secretary of the Bihar government, Sandeep Poundrik, will soon be transferred to a Central deputation as a Secretary. After being empaneled at the Secretary rank by the Central Government, he has been given a posting. Once the notification is issued, the Bihar government will release him from his current position. The General Administration Department will soon issue orders regarding this matter.
