Bihar Chess Championship: Exciting Opportunity for Young Chess Players
For youth interested in the game of chess, there is good news. A state-level chess competition is set to take place on June 24. A trial for chess will be held in Bhagalpur on Sunday, June 16, to select players from Bhagalpur and surrounding areas. Players selected in the trial will get a chance to participate in the state-level competition.
Chess Trial to be Held in Bhagalpur
Secretary of the Chess Association, Ajay Mishra, mentioned that the organization of chess competitions in Bhagalpur has been missing for several years. This year, a state-level sports event will be held in Lakhisarai. A trial will be conducted at the Kartar Coaching Center in Manali, Bhagalpur, on June 16 to select players for chess. Anyone interested in playing chess can participate in the trial.

Competitions are also being organized in the district from time to time, boosting players’ morale. Chess is a game that helps in the cognitive development of children.
