Bihar’s Chief Minister has launched a new dairy project in Munger and announced job opportunities and development schemes.


Today is a special day for the people of Munger as Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, has laid the foundation for a new Mother Dairy plant in Jamalpur. This project is part of a larger plan worth 12,000 crores aimed at benefiting the residents of Munger and the surrounding district.

During this event, Nitish Kumar announced that the state government will provide jobs for 1 crore youth in the next five years. He mentioned that in the previous term, 10 lakh government jobs and 40 lakh employment opportunities were created, highlighting the achievements of the current NDA government.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary stated that the government’s initiatives have brought significant development to Bihar. He also pointed out that major infrastructure like the Ganga Path and Haldia Expressway is in progress, which is expected to boost economic growth in the region.

Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also present at the ceremony, thanked Nitish Kumar for the dairy project, which will create 250 jobs and provide nutrient-rich milk to malnourished children. Villages will have milk collection facilities, increasing the capacity from 1 lakh to 2 lakh liters in the coming days.

In his speech, Nitish Kumar remarked on the improvements seen in Munger since 2005, emphasizing ongoing development in education, health, and infrastructure. He also mentioned that the government plans to build marriage halls in every panchayat and increase pensions for the elderly, showing a clear commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Bihar.
