Recently, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Valmikinagar and Bettiah in West Champaran, where he launched a number of development projects. He laid the foundation stone for a total of 120 schemes, costing over 1001 crore rupees, and 237 completed projects worth around 197 crore rupees. One highlight was the Lavkush Park, which will be built with a budget of 51.54 crores.

During the event, the Chief Minister also took time to visit various stalls set up by departments like Jeevika, Agriculture, and Industry. He interacted with beneficiaries, listening to their experiences and feedback. Following this, he attended a meeting with NDA workers at the Bada Ramna auditorium in Bettiah.

In his speech at the auditorium, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary talked about the significant changes in Bihar. He mentioned how travel time from Patna to Valmikinagar has reduced from eight hours to just four hours, showcasing the improvements in road infrastructure. He emphasized that the people of Bihar can now feel safer and more secure at night.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also shared that the state budget has increased from 2800 crores before 2005 to nearly 3 lakh crores today. He highlighted how the central government is now providing financial support to Bihar, and mentioned the increased honorarium for various workers like Anganwadi staff and teachers. He promised job opportunities for more than one crore people.

Lastly, Kumar urged the people of Bettiah to support his government in the upcoming 2025 elections, stating that his administration has worked on various issues like education, health, and unemployment. He assured that his government has made significant progress in development and peace among communities.
