Accused put in a separate room ★The District Education Officer of Darbhanga stated in a letter that the biometric match and photo verification of the accused, Fulan Kumar, could not be done at the thumb impression site. During the investigation, it was discovered that someone else from the Phulparas block in Madhubani district had appeared for the exam on his behalf. In response, the control room staff, Raman Kumar Thakur, Parvez Ahmad, Anand Kumar, etc., removed the accused from the thumb impression room and detained him in a separate room.
Instructions to file a FIR ★In order to take primary action, the control room’s activities were monitored by the BEO and the concerned HM of Alinagar. The District Education Officer instructed to file a First Information Report (FIR) at Laheriasarai police station. It was also mentioned in the letter to provide a report with the incident number and date. The letter from the DEO stated that the biometric match and photo verification of the accused could not be done at the thumb impression site. During the investigation, the candidate admitted that someone else had appeared for the exam on his behalf.
