Education Minister Sunil Kumar addresses TRE-4 candidates about their concerns and the ongoing recruitment process for teachers in Bihar.

Recently, Education Minister Sunil Kumar spoke up about the issues faced by TRE-4 candidates in Patna. He mentioned that the government is also looking into the TRE-5 process while handling the current demands.

Sunil Kumar stated that they are moving ahead based on the available vacancies. The government has already appointed around 2.5 lakh teachers through BPSC, and an additional 33,000 teachers have been hired, making it the highest number in India.

In addition to that, the minister confirmed that they are restoring over 26,000 teacher positions. He assured that the government will try to address the requests made by the candidates affected by these changes.

However, the announcement did not sit well with many teacher candidates. Thousands of them protested in Patna demanding an increase in the number of available seats, and during the demonstration, police used water cannons to disperse the crowd.

The Bihar government recently announced TRE-4 on Teachers’ Day, which will be responsible for filling 26,000 teacher vacancies. The situation continues to develop as the candidates seek more clarity and support regarding their concerns.
