This article provides an update on the changing weather conditions in Bihar, including falling temperatures and the likelihood of fog.

Bihar is experiencing a noticeable drop in temperature as winter approaches. The mornings and evenings are getting colder, while daytime temperatures remain comfortable due to mild sunshine. Currently, daytime highs are around 30°C, while nighttime lows are around 11°C.

The cold is expected to intensify as November comes to an end and December begins. The Meteorological Department predicts that the night temperatures could drop to single digits, especially with the arrival of western disturbances. This means more chilly nights ahead for residents.

In Aurangabad, the minimum temperature recently recorded was 11.9°C. Many areas in Bihar are experiencing night temperatures between 11°C and 12°C. The forecast suggests that by early December, these temperatures may drop below 10°C, raising concerns about fog in the mornings and evenings.

As the weather changes, the cold winds are making it feel even chillier at night. Some areas are already seeing temperatures around 10°C. With increased humidity, there’s also a chance that pollution levels may rise, affecting air quality.

People are advised to be cautious of reduced visibility due to fog, especially while traveling. The day will still see sunshine, but fog might limit its warmth. Wind speeds could reach up to 30 km/hr, particularly in southern districts like Kaimur and Rohtas, making the cold more pronounced.

Summary:

  • Bihar’s temperatures are dropping as winter approaches.

  • Night temperatures may soon fall below 10°C.

  • Fog is expected to reduce visibility in the mornings and evenings.

  • Increased pollution levels may occur due to humidity.

  • Residents should be cautious while traveling in foggy conditions.
