A contract worker in Bihar died under suspicious circumstances, leading to public outrage and roadblocks.

A tragic incident occurred during the festive time of Vijayadashami in Bihar. Deepak Chaudhary, a contract worker in the forest department, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. His death sparked anger among his family and locals, who protested by blocking a road at Sikaria turn, placing his body there for several hours.

The locals are claiming that Deepak was beaten to death. The crowd became very aggressive, making it difficult for police and administrative officials to control the situation. In the chaos, a cameraman covering the story was also attacked. DSP Dharmendra Bharti tried to calm things down but mentioned that while the family suspects murder, there were no obvious injuries on Deepak’s body.

Deepak was taken to Magadh Medical Hospital, where he was declared dead. The police stated that they would determine the real cause of death after the post-mortem report is received. Meanwhile, family members allege that Deepak was taken to the hospital after being reported unwell, but he had already passed away by the time they got there.

Deepak had only been working for the forest department for about eight months and earned a salary of ₹11,000. His family mentioned that there were often disputes regarding his leave, and he managed duties at the ticket counter while also taking care of plants. The public protests led to heavy traffic jams, especially since this happened during the Dussehra celebrations.

Currently, there is a tense atmosphere in the area as everyone awaits the post-mortem report. It will be crucial in determining whether Deepak’s death was due to natural causes or if foul play was involved.
