Bihar Gears Up for Assembly Elections as BJP and Opposition Leaders Intensify Campaign Efforts

Political activity is heating up in Bihar as the assembly elections approach. All the political parties are gearing up for the elections, and leaders from various parties are visiting Bihar frequently. Recently, leaders from the opposition, including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, were in Bihar as part of the Voter Adhikar Yatra. Meanwhile, senior BJP leaders are also making regular trips to the state.

JP Nadda, the National President of BJP, is scheduled to arrive in Patna on 13 September. He will attend a personal event first and then hold an important meeting at the Bihar BJP state office. Nadda will land at Patna Airport at around 11 am. The meeting will involve discussions on the party’s preparations for the upcoming elections.

This meeting is significant as it will focus on how the party is getting ready for the assembly elections. Nadda will gather feedback from party officials about strategies from the booth level up to the state level. The continuous visits of BJP leaders show that they are prioritizing Bihar as a key area for their campaign.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also set to visit Bihar on 15 September, shortly after Nadda’s meeting. Modi will be inaugurating an airport in Purnia and will address a large public gathering there. Additionally, Home Minister Amit Shah plans to visit Bihar by the end of September, focusing on the Seemanchal and North Bihar regions.

These visits by top leaders indicate that BJP is focused on strengthening its position in Bihar for the upcoming elections. The party’s mission for 2025 is a clear priority, and preparations are underway to ensure they have a strong showing in the assembly elections.
