How the Incident Took Place

Sakshi was traveling with her brother, Saurabh Kumar, when the accident happened near the Hathidah police station area. According to preliminary questioning by the police, the girl was attempting to film a social media reel near the open door of the moving train. However, the victim later provided a different statement, claiming she stood near the door because she felt unwell and needed fresh air. The impact of the fall was severe, but the quick response of the people nearby prevented a tragedy.

Rescue Operation and Medical Status

The presence of local boatmen and laborers constructing the new rail bridge proved to be a critical factor in her survival. They pulled her out of the water and used an Afcons company ambulance to rush her to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Maranchi. Doctors have stated that while her condition remains serious due to the nature of the fall, she is currently out of danger and stable.
